Being Jakob Dylan has to be difficult. I'm single, dating and a bit of a food person (to put it mildly). I can’t imagine dating someone who isn’t a food person or, worse, someone who eats the same thing every day. I know, I know—I’ll probably end up with a guy who lives on Spaghetti-o’s and Bud Light. And it’ll probably serve me right for being as judgmental as I’m about to be.

See, I often think about the so-called rules of dating, as they apply to the ladies: You know, like don’t order just a salad because you’ll be pegged as the diet girl or don’t ask for anything “on the side” because he’ll think you’re a high-maintenance diva. I felt like it was time to turn the dinner tables on the boys and offer up my own gut reaction to some common first date orders. how ironic lang....

para kasing ang dami lang problema na kung tutuusin na madali naman sanang solusyonan...

gaya ng patubig, bagong makinarya, bagong kaalaman sa mga magsasaka....

ngunit syempre, sa pera pa rin nagkakaproblema ang lahat...

wala lang, naisip ko, sana hindi na nagkaroon ng ganitong problema kung noon...

as in sobrang feel good na pag katuwa hindi lang yung at the moment na tuwa...

kakagaling lang namin ni gino sa aming paglaro ng frisbee (yes, nagfrifrisbee na kami para pumayat but i havce yet to learn the skill of throwing it properly. oh well anyway, that' a story for another day) tapos habang naglalakad kami eto yung napag-usap[an namin na sobrang natuwa ako :

i totally lost it...

what?
my sanity

since this morning i've been doubting myself, my abilities, my everything...

then it all came crashing down... i saw my brand new weight in the weighing scale... another pound added to the very big ginormous me...

i can't help but feel so useless... even the simplest thing... just losing my extra 25 lbs and i can;t even do it. the weight just keeps piling up.

in addition to that weight misery of mine, i really feel thast no one's there to support me in what i'm going through and that i'm really really really stuck in a rut.

but then again, bidaman(gino) comes to the rescue... well, he told me things that made me feel good about myself. That i can do better than just sit there and cry (yes, i cried today, twice).

Now, i feel a litlle better than this morning. but i really, truly have to start doing something about my weight it's really making me unhappy and i think what i feel towards my weight is startingv to affect every aspect of my life.

HELP! I really ...

MANILA, Philippines—Ateneo de Manila University is not only No. 1 in basketball, but is also the leading tertiary school in the Philippines, based on several criteria like peer and employer review, faculty-student ratio and citations of teaching staff.

But the University of the Philippines (UP), ranked No. 2 in the country this year after being No. 1 in 2007, dismissed the findings of The Times Higher Education-Quacquarelli Symonds (THE-QS) World University Rankings 2008.

UP said it did not take part in this year’s survey.

The THE-QS World University Rankings 2008 showed that the Jesuit-led Ateneo was leading the pack in the Philippines, followed by UP, De La Salle University (DLSU), and University of Santo Tomas (UST).
